MadejPak designed and implemented two independent fertiliser packaging and palletising lines for Siarkopol S.A. of the Azoty Group. The KUKA robot-based solution handles heavy 25 kg bags and small 0.5 kg packages in a demanding fertiliser environment.
Starting situation
The customer needed a new, modern packaging line adapted to varied product formats and a demanding working environment. The project had to account for very heavy 25 kg bags and small 0.5 kg packages, a dusty environment and slippery bags that make automated handling difficult.
Challenge
Handling varied package formats (25 kg and 0.5 kg) in a dusty fertiliser environment. Slippery bags making automated manipulation difficult. Integration with existing infrastructure while reducing manual labour and maintaining process continuity.
Project scope
Analysis of packaging process and environmental conditions
